Often it is assumed that Autonomy is term of leftist in the past few decades, a large movement of Autonomy has emerged amongst the anti-capitalist Left, merging with strands of Marxism, Anarchism, and the Anti-Globalization Movement…However, the Indian and Chinese communists/socialist not only defied Autonomy, but defied Marxism and Anarchism too.Nevertheless, I am neither Anarchist, nor Marxist, nor am I Leftist. I have found that neither Marxists/socialists/communists nor Anarchists/Anti-Globalization groups can provide Autonomy. I am Capitalist, extreme supporter of Laissez-Faire principle of economy, that is free-market theory. And I am extreme supporter of Autonomy, yet I confirm that Only Democracy can provide Autonomy. Civilization means evolutionary progress of humanity. Civilization is meant to provide individual freedom for every individual of the civilization irrespective of creed, caste, sex, class, religion, race, color etc. Individual freedom comprises of four main basic pillars, sexual freedom, economic freedom, political freedom, religious freedom. If someone would have asked me to design a society for all, I might have removed religion totally from the system, but in real world, it is not possible. Kant tried to demonstrate autonomy as exhibited by a person who decides on a course of action out of respect for moral duty, which is some sort of Obligation. I deny any Obligatory part at any account. Obligation is just not my sword. My sword is Autonomy, Individual freedom for his/her happiness. Autonomy is basic concept which must be followed by the economy, politics, sexual behavior and religious ideology (if religion cannot be totally removed from the society). Happiness is first moral principle of Individual and morality can never be Obligatory. Capitalism provides Individual Autonomy and Capitalism is totally against religions. Capitalism just cannot be attached with religion because both are against each other. Religion states that the profit motive is immoral. If, we are all constrained to sacrifice ourselves on behalf of the have-nots, should-not and do-not then private individual property, the recreation of capital, and the total free venture structure are malevolence. The only honorable system, according to religious doctrine, would be one in which the goods of this earth are common property, to be used selflessly for the “public good” — i.e., a system of socialism. But I despise socialism and selfishness is my forte. More so, religion’s belief in man’s innate sinfulness leads to the same collectivist ending. And being an Individualist, I despise collectivism. Hence religion cannot count for Capitalism Religions are totally socialistic/communistic patterns and they are against Capitalism of any sort. Religionists often insist that an Individual cannot be Moral, and there will remain “Dark-sides” of Individual which may hurt society, hence an Individual must not be provided full-freedom. Same is said by our communist brothers who even exemplify that “no-matters” someone is lacking legs to walk on, you will keep racing your Mercedes” or, “will you kill your father?” They think that these are communistic ideas, but basically these are religious servitudes which bounds them thinking like this. Socialist/communist and religionist are not much different. Both religionists and socialists/communists states that “Economic freedom will lead unregulated corporations to trample the “little guy.” That is, it will lead to too much individualism.” That is the reason why communists/socialists and religionists opposes autonomy and states that the very purpose of government is “to counter man’s sin” by restricting his freedom. In other words, government controls are needed to ensure that each individual act as his brother’s keeper. (Remembering the very socialist comradeship pledge of our KV School, “We all Indians are Brothers and Sisters”) I deny any such Government and I despise their idiotic ideas.Religion cannot be the basis of freedom and capitalism because of its innately dictatorial nature. Religion hassles approval on faith. It demands docile cohorts. It burdens the subordination of the individual’s intellect and the individual’s wellbeing to the dictates of some higher authority. Same is done by Communists/Socialists, although they change the religious faith in socialist’s faith.Under capitalism, the difference is, the individual is absolute. Capitalism appreciates the autonomy of the individual citizen and the incontrovertibility and indisputability of his individual rights. But then what is the need of democracy? The reality is religion is still a great influence irrespective all its faults and the autonomy promises Individual’s right to follow his own sense of religion too. How it can be provided? It can be provided by True Secular Democracy only. Whenever faith is employed in politics it leads to more government controls. However I just cannot support any sort of Governmental control. Democracy does not mean Public/Individual in hand of Government; it means Government in Hands of Citizen/Individual. There cannot be any control of government on Individual. True secular government will have only one work and that will be to protect Individual’s rights and nothing else.
