The Blessed Roses

The Blessed roses
The Glittering Rose
No witness was I, to budding or blooming.
Nor was I there, when the darkness o’er looming.
Caused the rose once crimson to fade into black.
As an ill-fortuned life made a constant attack.

Each word stems from your grace, each song springs,
From your bliss, my muse, each joy in me sings,

From that heaven I find in you, which reaches to me.
My blessed black rose, so unique, such beauty

The Blessed Roses
The Black Rose

But that single black rose that stands from the vine
Brought into my life by some power divine
I swear I will see turn from black into white
Blooming not petals, but pure radiant light.
