Living like a Bonsai aren’t we? Controlled under the supercilious governing bodies of society.

Sculpted to please,
Beauty contained’
Nurtured with love ,
Checked and tamed.
Beauty contained’
Nurtured with love ,
Checked and tamed.
Tortured we are,
Bound and bent’
Grown to perfection,
With meticulous care.
Bound and bent’
Grown to perfection,
With meticulous care.
Controlled by hands,
Nature deceived’
The crown is pruned,
No longer free.

No longer free.
Treasured we are,
Gloriously molded’
We are the same,
A bonsai tree.

By removing all jungles and roping some bonsai, can they make the world beautiful?
Just remember Alfred Huxley’s “A Brave New World” or George Orwell’s 1984.
They make us and grow us like a bonsai tree, never let us to reach our potential. On the price of our natural abilities they make us something different which they want.
And they make us believe that it is beautiful and peaceful, but at what price, at the price of our freedom, our individuality, our truth and our own existence. The indoctrination by society, culture, religion, traditions, collectivism denies us to examine and know ourselves and question the reason behind A being A. Yet, they teaches us that being under control, being disallowed to flourish freely on grounds of reason and abilities, on grounds of subsidies and quotas, reservation and taxation they are trying to make a better world. By removing all jungles and roping some bonsai, can they make the world beautiful?

April 19th, 2008 at 2:27 ami agree, they can’t make the world better this way. But you mention “supercilious”. I don’t get it. which social governing body do u find to be haughty or arrogant?
To live in a society you need to make adjustments, sometimes you have to live like a bonsai tree for that.
Anyways a nicely written piece. Keep it up.

“To live in a society you need to make adjustments, sometimes you have to live like a bonsai tree for that.”
You’ll adjust and then slowly you’ll compromise..Actually today people think that adjustment and compromise are synonymous!
@ Unpretentious Diva
Its easy for a rational man to live in a rational society,
True hero is the one who is rational inspite of living in a irrational society..a challenge right?

Noone is forcing you to get annoyed by their children crying in their own house.
But the government, and the useless societal rules are always being forced.
and that is the difference.

Better prove your worth that you really deserved that lavish upbringing.
Because if you don’t deserve it, you won’t be able to actually enjoy it too.
While the deserving man will make his paths even in scarcity and will reach flourishment of happiness on his own by his own mettle and hardwork and innovation.
and well its your free-will, if you are so moved for that child than do provide him better education and upbringing reasonably. Nobody is forcing you to either ignore or help that child. It will be your own call.
Thats not so in case of the restrictions and useless regulations the society and government poses.

and how do you know that I am not in politics or I am?
Try to talk sense.
anyways, the imaginary lord can’t lit your dark world.
And its simple, the kid you were complaining and crying against is not taking money from you.
But the bull-**** government is surely looting you.
