Hum Hindustani!
It is nothing new, the same old Indian story of characteristic socio-democratic fraud and inefficiencies. We all know how our taxes are being misused by the social politics and bureaucratic red-carpeting system. The rule of majority sucks out the blood of efficient for the name and sake of the inefficient, and even that blood is sacrificed to the daemon with three faces of corruption, forgery, and loot. But this is paramount of shamelessness and deceit. It is the embezzlement of the money provided by those who have nothing to do with India or Indians, yet they wanted to help the Indians.
UNO and World Bank provided enormous amount of money for different projects of progress and infrastructure development in India since 1950, but how much of it was used properly is under the darkness.
Yet, this case is extreme. Since 1997 to 2003 World Bank launched nine major healthcare programmes regarding the poor. These were the projects that received overseas funds dealt with tuberculosis, malaria and HIV/AIDS control. But what was the result? The result was the frauds and corruption marks found by the World Bank officials. Serious lapses in auditing, misconduct and sleaze were found in them which caused the money to evaporate ineffectively. The projects were jointly funded by donors, India and the World Bank, when we say project was funded by India, and then it means the people who honestly works hard and makes money and pays taxes to the looters of the Individual self-esteem. But in this case, the project was not only of Indians (whom those socio-democratic-government looters thinks that they are bound to be looted raped and marauded), it was funded by the foreign Philanthropic donors, and the World Bank too.
Basically, World Bank provides loans for development. So this money will also be stressed over the same honest, hardworking *few* people of India who actually are capable and works hard and then are being continuously looted on the name of Taxes, subsidies and socio-forgery-programmes.
It is nothing new, in 2005 too, World Bank complained about the embezzlement in reproductive and child health programme.
This time World Bank president Robert Zoellick lashed out at haphazard corruption in India, where state-run hospitals and clinics are seen as incompetent, powerless and unqualified of caring for the nation’s billion-plus population. Zoellick said in a statement issued in India “The probe has revealed unacceptable indicators of fraud and corruption.”
And then, the systematic custom of breaking the pot on each others head started. The World Bank lashed out administration and ministries, and in return, ministries lashed out bank, and bank in return, lashed out government hospitals, which clarified that programmes were weak and prone to corruption.
What the Heck? They (Including “I” the honest and forced tax-payer of India) will give you money for your progress and safety, and you even cannot use that money properly for your own development?
Now the game of illusion is the government of India has committed to improving omissions, oversight and errors of the total nine health projects supported by the organization. The World Bank says that there are systematic errors and weakness in project design, supervision and evaluation. Now the World Bank decided that it would invite external auditors to help fight corruption in the future. Don’t you feel the shame?
They will provide money, and they will provide inspectors and guides too, so that the socio-democratic-bureaucratic administration may not embezzle money which is provided for the development of Indians?
Indian government warned that it would take speedy action, four teams of people from the finance and health ministries would be set up to “probe the irregularities” and action would be taken against those found guilty. But, who will be found guilty? Are the ministers white-polished, or the administrators, or the government hospitals and machinery, or the government doctors and workers? Whole system is corrupt.
India’s finance ministry also promised “exemplary punishment” for those found guilty. I wonder what happened to the various embezzlement and fraud/scam cases of Indian finance ministry itself.

The Indians here, first people who habtou this earth, are also sumindo, or moving to the cities and losing its origins, a pity.

January 16th, 2008 at 1:19 amWell, the “logistics”, the great Indian logistics channel is still the same. How does it matter if the source and the purpose change? And the things will still be the same until the same logistics channel will be used or this channel will be transformed.
till then, happy tax-paying!
