This question is very difficult to answer. Anyways we can bring to your notice some following interesting points :
1) Sanal son of Josesh Edamaruku-founder of INDIAN RATIONALIST ASSOCIATION.
2) "Rationalists" do not believe in god, rituals, re-birth, miracles, etc.
3) We have not been able to find the official website of "indian rationalist association" all we have is a blog which sanal operates, so all the information we have is through him through his blog.
4) He claims to have increased the membership of "indian rationalist association" from 350 memebers to 100000 members. But for such a huge membership organisation without an official website, is difficult to digest, for some. It is not know whether internal elections of office-bearers are taking place regularly.
5) At last visit on face book's page "fans of sanal edamaruku" has only 600 followers and 172 members approximately.
6) The registration number of his "indian rationalist association" is not mentioned on his blog.
7) He has severely critisized Teresa and Sathya Sai Baba.
8) Some time back he was also seen discussing all topics on channels such as 9XNEWS such as naxalism, politics and it appeared that he had lost focus from his "rationalist" activism.
9) some people Question as to how the leading national news channels project him as an "expert" when his organizational details such as annual elections, annual returns of income tax, registration number are not displaced on his website.
10) It may be noted that his son samkhya edamaruku is/has working for a leading reputed channel IBN7, this may have helped sanal's sudden metoric rise to the national media prime time.
11) His main claim to fame is this "TANTRA CHALLENGE" on another leading TV channel INDIATV.
The so called tantrik sharma is not any authorised/recogonised/respected practioner of tantra.
Some poeple allege that this challenge was "FIXED", although there is no evidence for or against it.
12) We do not know if there is any ethics committee in the news channels which take a look at the various aspects and repercussions of an "open challenge to kill someone" was telecast live.
13) Lately he is said to have file a PIL against the MAKAR JYOTHI of the Kerala's Ayyapa temple.
14) Lastly, there is a saying that someone who goes after big personalities has very less to lose and more to gain.
15) The source of fundings of the "INDIAN RATIONALIST ASSOCIATION" is not mentioned on its website.
16) People have written many blogs against him complaining of his "Bias" against a particular religion, unparalled arrogance and abusive language for saints and religion.
17) It is also surprising to some that his two organizations are not affiliated to the apex indian rationalist association "Federation of Indian Rationalist Associations (FIRA)" which has more than 20 such rationalist organizations under its federation. It would be very transparent and worth appreciation if he can join the FIRA and disclose the financials of his organization. His membership of apex international rationalist society IHEU shows the status "inactive" for his organizatrion "INDIAN RATIONALIST ASSOCIATION". Furthermore, it is very shocking to see a note to the general public from the IHEU WEBSITE saying "If you can provide a short note of this organization's aims and activities, please contact us". It seems that the IHEU does not have any information about his activities.
18) Some people may feel that this is the classic case of "questioning everyone but answerable to no one!"

"Atheism cant be indoctrinated". I am an rationalist and atheist. My view is that atheism can be doctrinated if you can argue with a person with facts and there is not difference between an fundamental atheist and fundamental theist. But thing you cant indoctrinate is rationality. It can never be indoctrinated. because it tells you to think and judge yourselves. The fact that abdul kalam is a rocket scientist doesn't mean that he is rationally high or he has intellectual understanding about these thing. He might be good in maths sceince and as a statesman. So for me i think personally he has the right to think sai baba as a godman and but when it comes to state affairs he cant visit him like what he did since our consitituion denounces god. since secularism is god away from state. So personally i think abdul kalam as a low level rational being, but i respect him for the position he helds.

He has to rethink it.

I wish to join Rationalists Society. Since my boyhood i could not digest Bookism, Idolism and Babaism. The most ancient ways of earning 'EASY MONEY' academic qualifications, position or age cannot build a person's Wisdom of Mind. I admire this article with my whole heart with out showing any Hypocracy.

I doubt you have any standards as a critic. You even didn't read the article properly and you are criticizing that? It is chiding and your dictatorial attitude. You never read it still you are chiding against it.
Or, may be you just do not know what collectivism is. If I am being harassed by someone, then it is my right to voice against it, express the wrong anyhow. It is not collectivism, but usage of Individual rights.
First of all the collectivistic system of India Victimizes the Individuals
Its the Individual's hard earned money which is wasted for the safety and organization programmes whenever that sai baba and many other demigods like him arranges any meet.
Second thing is the immense money Indian collectivistic government wastes on Religion based issues, from where that money comes from? It comes from Individual's pockets as compulsory taxation.
Government loots the individual and misuses that money in various scandals scams etc.
The last demigod who was caught was Chandraswamy"
I can understand you even won't be able to recognize that name.
In a democracy, these demigods play a major role.
And that’s the reason" for which anyone tax-payer whose money is misused by this way or other has proper right to criticize the COLLECTIVISM!
Socialism, Nationalism, Communism, Religions, Fascism, racism etc all are forms of Collectivism.
The compulsory taxation, which I or any other Individual is bound to pay for as a slave is signatory of collectivism.
I don't decide how My money should be used. Those dumb decides it.
And that is victimization and loot via collectivism.
It is my Individual right and moral duty too, to oppose such regressive collectivism.
If my money is used for the safety and development of the net of a criminal on whom sexual harrassment and embezzlement charges are being casted, then why would not I criticise the collectivistic taxation system?
But, if I question why APJ met that baba, then again it has no basis, I or any other body cannot decide whom should APJ meet and whom should not.

i am no supporter of sai baba, and i am not a theist. i dont even think abt god. but, i think calling sai baba a 'criminilastic demi god' is a bigger collectivist madness than the other things u mentioned.
also, he is a demi god only if u look at him like tat. if u r not 'collectivistically mad' then why do u bother even writing abt such public figures?
